Trailer BE

More towing weight. More possible.

Caravans, horse trailers or a van with a trailer — BE or B96 lets you tow combinations Class B alone doesn’t allow.

BE or B96 — which fits you?

Class BE

The full extension of your Class B: a trailer or semi-trailer up to 3,500 kg permissible total mass — a combination up to 7 tonnes. Practical exam only, no new theory. Requires a valid Class B license.

B96

The smaller option: training with no exam, letting you tow combinations up to 4.25 tonnes gross combination weight.

Licence facts
